Well every year there seams to be a better and new LED light to hit the market. This year is no different. This new light is letting last years lights in the shadows. This new RED LED light is using a more powerful RED LED then any I have seen or used to date. To help this new LED get the light focused is a super deep lens with a smooth finish and a very large diameter lens. So if your looking for a fox or coyote hunting light this year with now wires. This one gets my vote as the most powerful light out there this year with a huge beam of light that is usable farther then anything out there I have used. This small light is using two self contained rechargeable type CR123 batteries or one rechargeable 18650 battery.

To have high numbers of red fox kills the experienced hunters are shooting most of the animals they call in, if not there numbers would not be high. These guys also spend tons of money on guns, lights, rests and calls. They also spend lots of hours scouting and shooting before there hunts. So when preparing for a hunt, These hunters also shoot off the same rest at the range that they will hunt with in the field. So scouting and shooting is what the guys who shoot high numbers of red fox spend most of there time on, calling is the least on there list of things needed to do before a hunt.

Check out the Tri-X-Shooting rest by Ewcalls.com and become a better shot when it counts.

http://www.thecoyotelight.com/

I am sure by now a lot of the night hunters have heard about this light.

I am however not sure how many people know some of the ways it can operate in the field; I hope this information helps the predator hunting people that do not own one yet.

This light is so nicely balanced when on my head I sometimes forget it is there. I can hunt all night and have no fatigue at all from this hat light. This is a first light that I can say that about in my life and I have hunted with hats lights for a long time. I truly enjoy using this light and can not say more then that.

There are three setting on this red led head light. High, Medium and Strobe. All three settings can be tightened up to a spot type light or opened to a very nice flood light that will suit most any ones night hunters needs. For hunting in tight woods this light set on high and in a fairly wide flood light setting can be a real nice shooting light for the guys that likes shot gunning gray fox. The light intensity will diminish in flood like any other light. This will limit the ability to identify a small animal’s body out pasts 40 or 50 yards and more yards in some conditions in flood setting. But the nice thing is there eyes will still show up for a very long ways out to help you get ready for a closer shotgun type shot. I would like to state how far in stone each person can identify targets and see eyes with this light in flood setting but each person has to make there own conclusions to these distances.

I will not say more about flood light use for shotgun type hunting because I am not a shot gun guy. I prefer a rifle for both close and far shots.

So for my rifle type of shooting I like a gun mounted light. I do however still use the coyote light wile on stand for scanning wile rifle hunting but will use a gun light for the shot close or far.

This coyote light for me wile on stand in a medium to some what a tight beam helps me catch predators eyes at hundreds of yards away wile on rifle stands in open areas. How can anyone ask for more?

A good gun mounted light comes into play with people being able to make close and long rifle shots at predators. I will do a write up on my preferred gun mounted light later. You will want to see what I like best, because I only like to talk about the best lights I can find to hunt with. And the best lights I can find and use seam to change at least every other year.
